Named for Captain William Renton (1818-1891), the Masonic Lodge carries on a tradition of serving the community of Bainbridge Island that originally started with Kane Lodge No. 8 in 1860 at Port Madison. After a fire destroyed its building at Port Blakely in the 1950’s, William Renton Lodge is now located at 1299 Grow Avenue NW across from Bainbridge High School.

William Renton Lodge meets on the second Monday at 7:30pm September through May, and the Monday after Grand Lodge (second Friday) in June. Come an hour early and meet the brethren of one of Bainbridge Island’s oldest institutions.

  1. Hello Brethren,
My name is René Silvas, Senior Warden for Phoenix Lodge #275 in Weatherford, Texas. I’ll be traveling to your area during the week of July 10 and would like to inquire visiting your lodge. Please let me any particulars that I’d need to bring for a proper Masonic examination for avouchment and your dress code.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Fraternally, I am,
    René Silvas
